About Councillor Zatko
Jori Zatko is a proud member of the Dene Tha’ First Nation and a Red Seal Millwright, bringing extensive hands-on experience, strong work ethic, and practical problem-solving skills to her role as Councillor with the Town of High Level.
Born and raised in the North, Jori has deep family connections to High Level, Keg River, Rainbow Lake, and Bushe River. Growing up in an oilfield family with strong farming roots helped shape her values and her understanding of the region’s unique strengths and challenges. From summers spent fishing, boating, and hunting to picking rocks on the family farm in Keg River, Jori learned early the importance of hard work, resilience, and community.
These foundational experiences, combined with her background in the trades, drive her commitment to supporting a stable, sustainable, and thriving community. Jori is dedicated to serving the residents of High Level with integrity, accountability, and a sincere focus on solutions that strengthen the town’s future.
