The Intermunicipal Planning Commission (IMPC) is seeking one (1) member at large. Appointments to the Commission are for a term ending October 2026, with extensions considered.
The Commission’s duties are to determine all subdivision applications and development permit applications which relate to lands within the Intermunicipal Development Plan (IMDP) area (40 kms around the Town of High Level) and to determine applications for water service tie-ins to the Town’s waterline for lands within the IMDP Service Area. Members appointed to the Commission are eligible for remuneration and expense reimbursement.
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must be 18 years of age, Canadian citizens or landed immigrants, and residents of High Level. Applicants must be able to attend evening meetings, as required.
