Equipment on the Fire
The Chuckegg Creek Wildfire was truly an international effort. Firefighters from Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Ontario, Northwest Territories, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Price Edward Island, Quebec, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, California, Colorado, Washington, and South Africa made their way to the High Level area to offer support
Approximately 3000 Wildfire firefighters, dozens of helicopters and pieces of heavy equipment worked on the Chuckegg Creek Wildfire. With the busiest day seeing 1,193 firefighters, 46 helicopters, and 338 pieces of heavy equipment.
