Mission/Vision/Description of Organization:
FCSS Provincial Vision: Alberta’s diverse people building strong communities through positive, caring interaction and mutual respect.
FCSS Provincial Mission: Family and Community Support Services is a partnership with the Province, Municipalities, and Métis Settlements that develop locally driven preventative social initiatives to enhance the well being of individuals, families, and communities.
High Level FCSS Mission: To provide services, resources and development to create resilient community members enabling people to sustain healthy lifestyles.

Other Services FCSS Provides
Community Welcome Packages:
Are you new to High Level? Do you know someone new to High Level? Have you hired someone from outside of High Level? FCSS has a package of information, flyers, coupons, business cards, great freebees and a lot of important information for newcomers to help them get established and connected to the community. Call the FCSS department to get a package delivered to you.
Forms and Faxes:
The FCSS staff will gladly help anyone needing assistance filling out forms or completing applications. Drop by our office or call to book an appointment.
Volunteer Income Tax Program:
Anyone earning $35,000.00/ year or less will be eligible for aid in completing and submitting income tax forms free of charge. This Program runs February- April. Call the FCSS office to book an appointment.

Events That FCSS partner with other organizations to bring to our community:
Resiliency Campaign: Stories submitted by youth aged 11 and older are submitted and selected to be published in the Echo February-June. Banquet to honor the Adults the stories are written about and the youth with their families is hosted at the end of May.
National Addictions Awareness Week: Various organizations come together to plan various initiatives to bring awareness about addictions. Poster Contest in the SNCS, workshops and speakers, Sober Walk, and Drum Dance and Feast.
Kids Safety Fair: We partner with various organizations to host the Kids Safety Fair and bike Rodeo at the end of May each year
