High Level Agricultural Society

Annual General Meeting Month
January

Description of Organization

The High Level Agricultural Society’s mission is to secure a solid future for both rural and urban interests in agriculture, farming, and ranching by promoting education, communication, innovation, interaction and recreation to the High Level and area community members.

An annual weekend filled with a Parade, Local Rodeo, Demolition Derby, Horse Pull, Agricultural Fair, and Outdoor Dance is held in August. Numerous educational, concession, and sponsorship events are held throughout the year.

Members of the High Level Ag Society must be a minimum of 18 years of age, however the Society depends heavily on community volunteers of all ages, sex, education, and knowledge to assist in manning activities such as concession services, gate entry, and emergency services.

The Society has been a local supporter of business, non-profit groups, and community recreation since 1971, and are committed to carrying on a long-time tradition created by many of the founders of High Level.
