Welcome Home
On June 3, 2019 the evacuation order was lifted and residents of the Town of High Level and area were able to return home. An evacuation alert for the region remained in place until late summer.
There was a community homecoming BBQ held at the High Level Arena to welcome back evacuees. Town of High Level, ATCO, Telus, Alberta Health Services, Alberta Agriculture & Forestry and many others were present to assist with questions, preparing food, and more.
