Situations and events like floods can be very stressful, and can cause a lot of anxiety for people in both the short and long term. It is important to look for support from friends and families but it is also essential to know there is professional supports available.

The Addiction and Mental Health Clinic at Northwest Health Centre in High Level offers a wide range of supports for the community which includes:

• Addiction outpatient counselling and referrals
• Tobacco reduction program
• Addiction presentations/consultations
• Mental health services for adults, youth and children
• Walk-in counselling and outreach services.

The Clinic is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays. The Clinic also provides a walk-in service on Thursdays, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. & 1-3 p.m. For more information or to make an appointment call 780-841-3229.
