Overview

Legislative Services is responsible for ensuring the Town of High Level meets all of its legislative requirements.

Duties & Services

This department provides services to Council, Town Administration and the general public, including:

  •     Preparation of all Council Meeting Agendas
  •     Recording and Distribution of all Council Meeting Minutes
  •     Maintaining all Council Bylaws, Policies and Directives
  •     Overseeing Records Management
  •     Coordination of the Subdivision & Development Appeal Board
  •     Coordination of the Assessment Review Board
  •     Planning and organizing of elections
  •     Coordination of the Municipal Census
  •     Coordinating recruitment of public members for Council Committees
  •     Manages cemetery records
  •     Act as Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPP) Coordinator
